Who We Are
We pray God would use us to make disciples from our neighbors to the nations, and learn to love Him and one another more and more faithfully. God is on a mission, saving people for His namesake from every tribe and people. He has saved us and called us to make disciples of others. He has called us to live in a community of faith where we can grow in our love for Him and one another. The Bible teaches us to do that by regularly meeting together, teaching one another, singing songs, remembering Jesus’ sacrifice through communion, professing our faith publicly, and sharing what we have so no one is in need. The local church is the best way to achieve that goal. We’re not there yet, but God has begun that work in us and will one day bring it to completion. If there is any way we can help you, please feel free to contact us.
We function under the authority of the Bible as God’s word, trusting it as an all-sufficient source for all of life. It teaches us that eternal life and the forgiveness of sins comes by grace through faith in Christ’s death on the cross for our sin. Eternal life is secured through Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and ascension into heaven, where He reigns today. Those who have faith in Jesus Christ are born again through the Holy Spirit and empowered to live the Christian life which is summed up in two commands: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and might; and love your neighbor as yourself.
