Becoming a Member

If you believe that God has brought you to Memorial Baptist church for this season of your life, then we invite you to become a member of our fellowship. These are the options for joining:

At the close of the worship service, the pastor will invite people to come down to the front of the church and speak to him or one of the other pastors about your decision to join our church.

  1. You want to become a Christian and will come and pray with a pastor asking Jesus to come in to your life and look forward to being baptized as a sign of that commitment.
  2. You have already asked Jesus to come in to your life but have not yet been baptized. You will come to one of the pastors and state your desire to be baptized.
  3. You are already a baptized believer and a member of another Baptist church. You will come to one of the pastors and state that you desire to transfer your membership to Memorial Baptist.
  4. You are already a baptized believer and desire to join by “statement of your faith” from a church of like belief to Memorial.

You may also come to one of the pastors to express your willingness to commit to a call on your life by the Lord to enter some aspect of vocational Christian ministry; reaffirm your salvation commitment to Jesus or seeking special prayer for a particular issue in your life.
